Silver Fern Lodge

It was easy to book, check in and find the room. The toilet and shower facilities were clean and well maintained. The location was great with good parking for our ute and trailer just outside the place.

The kitchen closed quite early which made it tricky for us as we arrived late and left early so couldn't make use of it.

Great location – convenient to the lake, town centre, restaurants and attractions. Not that quiet but somehow peaceful in the early morning.

The accommodation itself was nice, but unfortunately the service at reception was disappointing. The receptionist was lazy, unwelcoming and did not make any effort to provide a pleasant experience for guests. Good customer service is an important part of hospitality, and this was the main negative aspect of our stay. He answered the call but he was on break. He said to call back in 30 minutes. We could have called back if he told us earlier that he is on break or should not have answered the call. He wants us to use the main door and turn all the way back to carry our things yet our room was just next to the exit and did not offer any trolleys. Indian guy.

The location was good for us
