There's five outstanding things about this place (in nor particular order): the view onto Kalo Vig (and the nice little strip of pebble beach accessible from Kalovig Center via a set of stairs), the tasty breakfast, the friendliness of staff, the two chargers for electric vehicles and the fact that we had the best night's sleep there since forever.

There's nothing really that bothered us, but be aware that the rooms, while nothing is missing, are a little basic. That isn't an issue, seeing as Kalovig Center is more about spending time outside of your room, either exploring Djursland/Mols Bjerge or using the Game Room or library at the premises.

The breakfast was a very nice buffet style setup, leaning to danish cuisine and tastes. Everything was delicious. I thought the complimentary tea, coffee, cakes and fruit on offer when we arrived was a nice touch. I especially liked the recommended DIY BBQ for dinner that night. It was super tasty, great value and what fun.

The small size of your towels… but honestly that’s me really reaching for it (I know the centre strives to be eco friendly so larger towels would compromise their ethos)

The place is so pretty! It has a cute garden to sit in (and eat the wonderful afternoon tea and cake they had baked and offered to all! <3). The breakfast was absolutely delicious and provided good options to vegetarians and lactose-free diets, too. There is a direct access to a bit rocky street, but also a pier to jump into the sea just 50 meters away, as well as a nice sandy beach within a few minutes walk. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff were glad, warm, welcoming, and helpful with everything. Very good value for the price!

I liked the attention of the reception staff, very friendly and pleasant, always with a smile. Good breakfast.

The bathroom is not very clean and the kitchen did not have enough utensils.
