Had an issue with our safe which they did try to sort out on the day we arrived. The safe guy couldn’t even find the problem. So as it was a weekend he said he would contact someone on Monday. No further contact made and when we checked out on Tuesday the lady on reception was unaware of the safe situation even though I’d had numerous conversations on the Saturday to try to resolve this. Staff were always really helpful but the only solution was for us to put our passports/valuables into the safe in the hotel Reception office which wasn’t an ideal scenario when wanting to have access each morning & evening. We didn’t end up bothering as it was too much of an inconvenience. We also had a strong drain smell for two days from the bathroom when we returned from being out in the evening. Again staff were really helpful in trying to get this sorted but it was still very obvious at times 😕 I wouldn’t book a twin sea view room again as although the side sea view we had was lovely the room was so tiny and the sliding door to the bathroom was so close to the bed you could step out of bed and have a foot in the bathroom. The reason for the sliding door was that the bathroom was so small there wasn’t enough space for a standard door to open in. Bathroom was clean & modern and had a walk in shower but just way too small.

Perfect location right beside all the bars and restaurants. Staff were so kind, warm and friendly. Very accommodating with our 5 month old baby. The breakfast buffet had loads of options and was fully stocked everyday however could get pretty chaotic at peak times !

The hotel is a little tired. It’s a good 3 star rather than 4 star. Having the room “made up” simply meant your bed made rather than cleaned felt like our floors were still pretty grubby. The hotel is pretty expensive for what it is but I think all the hotels (and restaurants) are much pricer than elsewhere on the island.

The lift broke regularly. Leading to having to walk up stairs many floors in the heat. My partner had a heart failure on the stairs, fell badly all when the lift was broken leading to an 18 day Intensive care hospital stay. When i checked out of the hotel early to move to Palma to be near him, I asked for some reimbursement for the two nights I cancelled and despite applying for this directly and via Booking.com they did nothing.
