Four Points Flex by Sheraton Newcastle

The receptionist on duty when we booked in was incredible. Due to a bunch of lively people behind us we couldn't hear what was being said. The receptionist asked the people to be quiet, she was very respectful to them and to us. Very professional lady. The room was better than either of us expected in all honesty. It was clean and comfortable. Plenty of milk which is a rarity in some hotels! The toiletries were rather luxurious too and the smell was very refreshing. Our breakfast was also much better than expected - exceptional value for money. As we are vegetarian we spoke to the cook on Sunday morning. Yet again she went above and beyond for us. She cooked us some new vegetarian sausages the hotel was trialing. They were tasty. Breakfast was a feast for sure. We were not rushed, just a lovely leisurely breakfast. On checkout the lady receptionist asked if we wanted to leave our luggage as our trains were around 3pm, so much appreciated. We went back to the hotel with an hour to waste. The receptionist informed us we could grab a coffee/tea and relax until we were ready to leave.

Actually I can't think of one thing we didn't like. This hotel exceeded our expectations.

Well located - easy 5 minute walk from the station

Very friendly staff. Excellent location. Clean and comfortable.

Quite small bathroom. Water from shower went into the rest of the bathroom.

Close to station

I booked a standard double. To me there was no difference between my room and an ‘efficient’ double which I booked for each of my two sons
