you get what you see on the photos, so no bad surprise.
the swimming pool area don't have any charm, just camping chairs, no sunbed... not really easy to enjoy.
The common area was a bit dodgy...

Staff very helpful and friendly when we had to book out after 8 hours for personal reasons.
Beds were disgusting. Looked about 30 years old. Springs coming through the mattress. Bathroom door didn't close and bedroom very tiny. Didn't even have enough room to put our 3 cases. For the price we paid per night expecting a lot better. Should only be charging youth hostel prices not hotel prices. Even though there for less than 8 hours had to pay for 2 nights although they did refund the rest straight away. If we didn't have to leave for other reasons, we would not have been able to stay there another 7 nights.

The man at the reception was very helpful and kind. The hotel is in a good location as there is a supermarket nearby.
The price. The hotel was very tired and we felt that it needed a facelift. The cost of a room did not meet our expectations. However, having said that, all hotels in Darwin seem to be rather expensive, so for a 1 night stay, it was all right.

Property had everything it needed for a budget stay in the centre of a usually very expensive city. It is walking distance to most things in the city. Staff were nice. It was nice to have a microwave in the room.
The bed was very uncomfortable, and water pressure in the shower wasn't great. There were some security car parks, but they were limited. The lock on the door could be a bit fiddly, and a couple of times it wasn't locked properly when I got back to my room (probably my fault)

The online communication from the motel is great. Especially the instructions for entry to the premises and to the car park.
Location is conveniently close to grocery stores, parks and necessary destinations.
I prefer to have a microwave so I can keep costs down when travelling.
I like to have face washers supplied.
A basin plug would be ideal to save water.
Needs renovating.

Great location, quiet, pool, comfortable bed and pillows, clean, air conditioning, luggage storage, helpful staff.
The room including the bathroom was quite old and outdated. Expensive.

The room had cracked tiles, the walls were stained, the bed was very uncomfortable and there were very few outlets to plug things in.
