Grand Ixora Kuta Resort

The location is excellent. The hotel is within walking distance of Discovery Mall and Lippo Mall. There are plenty of restaurants, money changers and shops nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One nice touch was the security guard stopping the traffic to help us safely cross the road in front of the hotel. The breakfast buffet was decent although it didn't have a huge variety. There were Indonesian options such as rice, noodles, congee and chicken, as well as Western choices including sandwiches, bread and croissants. There was also fruit and pudding, and omelettes were available on request. The hotel also has an on-site restaurant with reasonable prices. There is also a swimming pool but unfortunately we didn't have enough time to use it during our stay.

Some rooms can be affected by noise from roosters at neighbouring properties, which can be an issue as the roosters may start crowing early in the morning and wake you up.

After a night flight from Australia it was very convenient to stay only ten minutes from the airport , room was clean and we slept well after arriving after midnight ,

Was awoken by swimmers splashing around , as pool is. Very close to all rooms, smoking allowed outside breakfast bar area so we decided to breakfast elsewhere where

Excellent location, 24hr service desk and late check out was good. Staff were friendly.

Beds felt like concrete slabs and the air con was not very cold. We were given a room number which was already occupied walked into a very shocked person lucky he was friendly.
