The biggest challenge was finding the place, since it's down a narrow alley/street with numbers not very visible at night. But you could not ask for a better location in the middle of the old town. No cars are allowed inside the walls so I was dropped outside the main gate (Pile), and it was about a 5 min walk from there. A very popular coffee/juice shop is right across the road, and the local Holy Burek shop is just around the corner (both delicious)! Almost all the major sites are within walking distance, so very convenient. Host was also very responsive.

Can't think of anything. Not the fanciest place, but the location made it a great value! Oh, when "beach" is mentioned with regard to Dubrovnik, keep in mind this typically means a small, often flat, rocky outcrop.

The location was perfect, right in the middle of the old town. The host Andrej was very helpful and kept in touch throughout my stay.

If you struggle with stairs, try to get a lower floor apartment. I was on the top floor and I counted 42 steps! No problem for me as I'm only 69! One 'tiny' criticism, maybe a toaster would be a good addition for the kitchen.

Very central and clean

Nothing!

This place is perfectly located! If you stay inside the walls ,which I recommend you do, you do not want to stay anywhere that has stairs to get to the actual hotel, and you don’t want to stay too far from a gate. This location is only a 3 to 5 minute walk from the pile gate and absolute perfect to explore the old town. There are, however many many stairs to climb to get to your actual unit. The owner was very communicative, helpful and helped us with our bags, but it could be an issue for some people and definitely was for me after I got injured. The room has everything you need… There is a basic kitchenette and everything is comfortable and clean. Just be careful using the bathroom at night because it is way too easy to hit your head on the ceiling.

Too many stairs inside the unit to get to the top. Low hanging ceiling in the bathroom.
