I loved the historic look and feel to the hotel and it's presented very well. Located in a good central location for visiting restaurants and various museums as well as the centre. Security at the hotel was good and the staff were friendly, I'm not sure how well they speak English though. Highly recommended be sure to choose this hotel!!!!!!!!
It's hard to complain about this hotel being such a bargain that it is, the only thing I could make a comment about is maybe be a little more creative with the breakfast but it gets you started for the day.......

The hotel has a cozy feeling, specially the breakfast area. The hotel has a great location, you can walk to major tourist attractions. The hotel has an old fashion vibe that makes it very unique and lovely. The breakfast is good.

Perfect hotel to go when visiting Cuenca. The location is perfect, near the most important places in the city. Staff is helpful and charismatic. I loved this place

The location is what drew me here. Very cool colonial feel to it too.
Really nothing to complain about but if I had to say something the breakfast could be a little better. But the breakfast was fine.

The house is beautiful and the staff was so helpful - they even called the bus company I took to help me find my missing hat!
The beds were not so comfortable - it says it is 4-star but it is definitely now.

Beautiful home / hotel in a great location to walk around Cuenca. Included breakfast was good and the staff were happy to help with questions we had around transfers to other cities. We were allowed to leave our bags at the hotel after check out and walk around the town. Good COVID precautionary measures in place.
Can't blame the hotel but there was a huge family also staying in the hotel and were incredibly loud at all times of the day. The noise does carry given this is an older building but this is a guest issue not the hotel's!

Very beautiful hotel located in the city center. Rooms are spacious & clean.
The breakfast could feature some more options. When arriving by car it should be clearly mentioned that the parking lot belonging to the hotel is located 3 blocks and 5 minutes walk away. Additionally, the parking lot address should be communicated before arrival as there are no parking opportunities at the hotel and only high-traffic one way roads in Cuenca centre. Knowing where we need to go in advance would have saved us half an hour.
