The manager was very friendly the minute we arrived. She accommodated our needs because it was a last-minute but urgent booking to lay our heads down for one night.
Through booking.com, I had been to a lot of motels. The rooms are very spacious for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. It is 110% hygiene from the front door to the bathroom, kitchen, and rooms. A rarest moment.
Safe parking, too. Thank you so much, Kauri Lodge, Kaitaia. You deserve a pat on your back.

First and foremost the lady manager/owner. She was wonderful. She checked that everything was good..everything was exceptional by the way. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. It's only a short walk to the centre of town.

Nothing, everything was great.

The lady working reception was very nice and friendly. The kitchenette was pretty good.
Old, tired furnishings, carpet, curtains and bathroom, stained bathroom sink, window didn’t latch properly.
