Basic room but clean and convenient to Chadstone

The motel is very old and the bed and matress is terrible,

bad.

The air con split system did not work Took a long time to get hot water in the shower

Could have been cleaner in the bathroom Especially the shower base

I did arrive about an hour or so earlier than check-in time. Has an advert out the front as having Cable TV - I wanted to watch a basketball game - but no cable in my room. Only in some rooms. So I asked for another room and came back an hour or so later. The FOXTEL channels were subscription only and they did not subscribe to Foxtel. There was no iron or ironing board in the room. This hotel offered no food. I was told to go to Subway or KFC up the road a few blocks. Even the lobby fridges for drinks and nibbles were empty. All my fault - when I saw it was called the Chadstone Executive Motel I presumed that basics would be there - BUT, no. I left the hotel and did not stay at all - they gave me one nights refund - ok, I understand the cancellation rules. BUT, I will be very wary believing what I see on the screen before booking any hotel next time.

Staff very welcoming and friendly. Close to where I needed to be.

Some guests were out the front smoking. They were right where the path to Reception was located. I spoke to the owner about this concern.

Quiet place to spend a night out and located to the main street with easy access to all the landmarks

Hard to connect to the wifi with very weak signal

The location was fantastic, with private parking next to our room made it more comfortable. The room was clean and tidy and just perfect for our family of 5 people. All the necessities from hot water, shower, fridge, TV, A/C, towels and internet services was excellent and in good condition. All in all I give it a 4.5 star rating.

The whole building from outside and inside walls needs some renovation work to give it a face lift up. More lightning from outside could help to make it more representable.

Room was very clean and bed and pillows were very comfy!

You get what you pay for, and that was the case here. The staff were friendly, and the location was convenient to what I required but thats about all that you could stay that was positive.

The sheets were stained, the toilet seat was crooked to the toilet bowl, there were bugs in the basin and the shower leaked. We were in a no smoking room yet after reception closed the strong smell of cigarettes came lofting into our room making it unpleasant, we were disappointed
