Common room - snoring neighbour

Location was great.

Breakfast is the same everyday. Better room cleaning would be a plus.

The breakfast was excellent, and the facilities were clean, quiet and comfortable

Quiet location, even though there were lots of kids, I couldn't hear them. Breakfast was included.

There really need to be curtains on the beds. Also, if I'm paying a lot of money for a simple hostel, at least I don't expect to put on the sheets and bring them to laundry myself.

As the title includes the word youth, you would expect it to be the typical hostel full of students traveling the globe 🌎 But it’s not!!! From students to families with kids and professionals – you can find everything! I can’t recommend this hostel highly enough. Super clean, with comfortable beds, not crowded and with an amazing variety in breakfast – best hummus I had in my life! Fantastic views partly to the lake and in walking distance to the train station (approx. 7 minutes). Nice and safe area. The rooms have excellent sound proofing, so you are not disturbed by external noise when in the room. I booked a bed in a 6-bed room and the privacy and space I had during my stay in the hostel, I haven’t even had in 5 star hotels. Will be back definitely!

If you are a late sleeper be advised that the cleaning 🧹 staff does come in the room in the morning until 10:00 regardless. But for a couple of minutes.

Fantastic choice even for longer stays, private garden to enjoy your breakfast, work or just chill. There is also an area dedicated to children with toys, puzzles etc

This is Youth Hostel but do not be afraid - full comfort like in a good hotel. Staff - amazing, helpful, very nice and friendly Rooms - a bit simple but comfortable with comfortable bed some with private bathroom. Clean and comfortable. Possibility to have a dinner at reasonable price. Good breakfast with very good coffee. Located 15 min from Old City Zug walking distance along shore of Zugersee. Strongly recommended!

- Close proximity to two train stations and Lake Zug - Very good breakfast - Layout of the room - there is much space for everyone as the wall divides the room into two areas, the bathroom and corridor are large enough - Lockers are spacious and include clothes hangers, it's easy to use them with the key - Shelves and bed reading lamps - Friendly and helpful staff - Big relax and dining areas

The price is way too high for a hostel!
