We've stayed at this hotel before, which is why we came back. It is great! It is in a perfect location on the banks of Loch Lomond and is very easy to find. The Manager is brilliant! He is so friendly, helpful and happy. The food in the restaurant is superb and its no wonder you have to book in advance, as its so popular. It's a great stopping off point on the way into the Highlands of Scotland and beyond. We will be back :-)
The rooms are a bit small and our bed was flush against a wall, so one of us had to climb over the other to get out.

Fantastic location right on the River Leven leading into Loch Lomond. Really close to the boat trips too
Room was well decorated and big comfy bed
Our room smelt of damp and wasn’t well maintained - the handle was coming off the bathroom door and the water in sink wasn’t draining.
The rooms are very cosy so no space to sit other than on the bed.
Staff were mixed. The staff of Saturday night were excellent but on Sunday night we sat without a menu or a drink for 20 mins
