Staff were very friendly and efficient, the food was great and plentiful. We used it as a staging stop on our way to the lake district and would definitely use it again.
The windows were a little grubby and the pedal bin in the bathroom had rust marks on the lid, I'm being picky here. One more thing a bottle of water in the room would not have gone amiss.

Attentive busy staff coping very well after earlier power cut. I was shown a secure place to store my bike over night in the vineyard behind the pub.
