Central location.
The hotel is old and the room is dirty, stains were everywhere in the room with thick layer of dust on some surfaces. Internet was even worse, dropping out frequently and hardly working when connected. Parking was staff were very rude. They tried to ask us to go to another car park and rushed us on it. We haven't even finished unloading the luggage and there was no one behind us.

Location, very close to both train & bus stations and there's many restaurants nearby for evening meals - convenience stores too, for takeaways. Very helpful & friendly staff. Appreciated the onsen, the good range of the buffet breakfast & coin laundry.
A bath robe is provided rather than pyjamas - a personal issue of course.

A public bath is available on the 1/F of the hotel. A bit small, but enough for two people during non-peak hours.
The staff member who checked us in came off as very rude. He told us that he couldn't find our booking, even though I had the confirmation email and code. What's more, I had just stayed at this same hotel a night ago (we checked out to go to Kushiro and then returned to Obihiro) and there weren't any issues! He just left us standing there worrying about whether we'd have any accomodation for the night while he busied himself with another customer. I found it extremely impolite that he'd serve someone else before getting this problem resolved. He didn't even call for assistance or ask another staff member to serve us. In the end, he realized that our booking was made via Booking.com and found our reservation. A hasty apology and something along the lines of 'it was buried under many other reservations' were the only appeals for reconciliation.
I almost forgot to mention that he also mistakened us for another guest. We had just approached the front desk and he acted like he'd met us in the daytime (no, we hadn't). He told us we had only booked a single room for one person and even tried to give us someone's stored luggage. It was only when we said it wasn't ours that he realized his mistake. I cannot imagine what could have happened if that was our luggage and he just let someone else claim it without any need of proof. Very unprofessional and unpleasant.

The bed was very comfortable. Might be a bit too soft for old-timers, but perfect for the younger generation.
There was a hot spring bath at the hotel. Nothing big or fancy compared to the ryokans, but it was nice and cosy, with medicinal properties (or so it was advertised). Only 4-5 people are allowed in the bath at the same time due to fears of overcrowding. It's quite a small bath after all.
A microwave on every floor was definitely a bonus. I don't like going down to the reception every time I have to reheat a bento, so I particularly enjoyed this facility.
Room was a little too small for two people, even for business hotel standards. There wasn't enough space to place two suitcases and walk around the room without having to flatten yourself against the walls.
The location was fine. It would have been completely OK if it were any other season than winter. An extra minute or two of dragging your suitcase through the snow and cold in the darkness of night could eat up more stamina than you'd expect.

I liked the hot spring in the public bathroom - Tokachi area is known for the Moor water. The public bathroom didn't look as fancy as the picture on the website, but it was still good. It opens from 6am, so you can start a day with a nice bath. Breakfast was good too.
The hotel location is close to Obihiro Station and the famous bakery, Rokkatei.
My room was next to the room with vending machines and laundry, and it was close to the elevator. Young people who stayed in the hotel were chatting pretty loud in these areas.
The hotel was good but old and not fancy enough for the price.

very clean and comfortable, the hotel offer outstanding service and an indoor parking for 600¥. in front of the station , and neat a supermarket, it’s a great place where to stay in Obihiro:)

Very good value for money hotel in a convenient location just off the downtown and walking distance to the station. I was impressed by the amenities available - public bath, free coffee and ochazuke at night and massage chairs.
The rooms were a little outdated.

I have stayed here many times and one of my main reasons for returning is the safe, quiet and comfortable nature of this good value property in an almost perfect central location. I would add though, that the bathroom is always quite spacious as well which is a nice bonus for a business style hotel.
It is hard to say there is anything that I actually dislike, hence my repeat visits, however I know that sometimes the wall decor does look a little old and tired and a small microwave would really improve the value of the room.

Lovely, clean and well lit lobby, with wonderfully friendly staff. Well sized rooms, with everything you need. Quiet and private - perfect for the business or family traveller.
Room and bathroom were a little dated, very little information in the rooms regarding the facilities such as onsen, or nearby attractions - almost no English anywhere, so bring your translate app. Limited television channel options, and no international channels.

Very good place recommended!!
