The Beach Lodge is a quiet, tidy and spacious motel with everything you need and in a great location with so much to do close by. But the thing that makes this place great is the couple that run the place, they give recommendations when you arrive, they’re accommodating and they’re funny. We loved our stay here and highly recommend.

Great bed very comfortable. The room was old world but had everything one needed. Kitchen - stove oven etc. situation was central to beach and not too far from city.

The motel was very clean, tidy and comfortable. Dated, but kept up to standard with paint etc. The heatpump worked well.
There was no electric blanket on the bed which is a necessity in a cold place like Dunedin. We found one on the single bed but it didnt work.

Simple, clean.
No electricity socket near the main bed.
