Lakeside Motel

The location is right in the centre by the lake. You wake up to the beautiful view 😍 . The room was simple but clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was outdated but everything was working. There was no problem leaving bags. Friendly staff.

Bathroom could be better but it was good value for money, so not really complaining. It’s 3 stars and not 4 or 5.

Super clean, cozy and comfortable.

The location was good, walking distance to the centre of Queenstown. The view over the lake was lovely. The unit was spacious. Lots of clean towels provided.

To be frank, the hotel needs to be demolished. The night before had been torrential rain - and the carpet in the bedroom of our 2nd story unit was soaking wet! When I moved the bed out in the second bedroom looking for a lost item I could tell this was not a one-off. The mould under and around the bed was revolting! In the bedroom and the lounge, there were electrical cords running to multiwords across the (wet) floor. Many health and safety hazards. My son was sick during the night. Nothing to clean with other than towels so I did my best. When I reported this to reception the next morning, no replacement sheets were given, no offer to see if the carpet needed additional cleaning (it had been wet prior the accident, was certainly worse after vomit!). Fortunately it was our second to last night.
