Lovely accommodation, well accessorised and plenty of equipment in the kitchen. Carl met us at the door and was so friendly we knew we were going to enjoy the holiday.
Is an easy walk into Matlock. Walking back up the hill afterwards is more challenging after dinner and drinks!
The bath is very slippery to get out of and I recommend it has a rubber non slip mat, to avoid an accident

Pillarbox Cottage was like a home from home. We had everything we needed.
There wasn’t anything to dislike.

Great location, great facilities and even better value. Really clear, helpful communication too.

The location was fine and quite peaceful
The cleanliness didn't live up to expectations, with cobwebs and a few spiders, and what appeared to be old perhaps past-their-use-by-date, towels, as they were quite harsh, so we didn't use them. A very small ironing board with stains on. There is no shower in the bathroom, which would have been useful in this day and age.
