We liked the location as it was close to the Metro station, which we needed. We liked the staff who were friendly and helpful. And the bed was comfortable, too.
We didn’t like the massive step into the bathroom from bedroom. It would be too much for older guests. We didn’t like that there were no tea / coffee making facilities in the room and the only warm drinks was a large urn available between set times. And we thought it was pricey for what it was but I think that’s Madrid!

Great location,
Comfy beds
pretty clean
nice staff
quiet building, relaxing environment
toiletries provided as well as towels
A/C unit was not working well for most of the stay. it kept the room relatively fine but not as cool as I would have liked. The air filter in it was also very very dirty and i went ahead and cleaned it myself in hopes it would make the unit work better.
on my last night, it suddenly started working fine and cooled the room down perfectly
