Comfy bed, good location, lovely decor. Cocktails were great. Pool looked lovely too.

No expense has been spared on the decor at this place, from the bedroom to the restaurant areas (even the toilets!) The bedroom was unique and very big (we definitely have not stayed somewhere like this before) The bed was comfortable and the linen super soft The bathtub was lovely The food at dinner was amazing The restaurant decor was outstanding The staff were friendly The outdoor day pool was a nice added touch - it felt like you were abroad on holiday with the day beds The robes and slippers were a nice touch The village itself is quaint and picturesque - lovely setting

There is no designated hotel parking for your car, so it was a bit of a nightmare trying to find somewhere to park on the street. You could hear every footstep from the room above us which was annoying when you're trying to sleep. This isn't a standard hotel building, it's a row of period terraced houses where each house appears to be split into 2 bedrooms. The 3pm check in and 11am check out (although you can extend check out for 2 hours subject to availability and an additional fee)- means you do not get 24 hours in the hotel room, it's a rather late check-in and would be nice to arrive earlier, make the most of the room and the surroundings. It gets darker earlier now, so a 3pm check in means less time to spend by the day pool. No mini bar fridge in the bedroom. You get tea, coffee and milk and 2 cans of water, but it would have been nice to have a fridge to chill the water.

It looked amazing and it was safe.

You could hear people in the halls but that’s pretty much a given for any hotel.

Over priced room. Room had Very poor lighting to the point that it was dark. Toilets in hotel are virtually in the dark and dangerous! Charged for drinks that we did not have. Apparently this happens a lot.....
