Location was good. We loved having access to a pool. Great staff.

The room was nice, a little dark and a bit ‘basic’ which we didn’t mind as it was just a short stay. We did think it could be a bit cleaner.

Very nice staff, although the breakfast started at 8h, they allowed us to have it at 7h for two times since we had excursions. The terrace pool was amazing and very useful due to the weather. Very calm and relaxing Riad.

Abdou is an excellent host, seeing to all of our needs. It is a beautiful traditional Riad but with the addition of very effective AC. The staff are lovely and the room was always fresh and clean every day. There is a small pool on the roof terrace to cool off in.

It is a very short walk to the main road, but nit picking really, it is about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the main El Fnaa Square.

The riad was beautiful - rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and the rooftop pool, although small, was a welcome area of peace and relaxation amongst the craziness of the city. Location wasn’t bad - about 15 minute walk into the centre but be warned that it cannot be accessed by taxis, so we were dropped off a fair way away.

The staff were friendly but we had a few small issues. Upon arrival, they said they didn’t have our booking - despite the fact that we had email confirmation and could see our name on their computer screen. They then said they did get the booking but didn’t think we were coming so hadn’t saved our room. Eventually they were able to offer separate rooms rather than the one we had booked but it was better than nothing, so we accepted. Breakfast was very carb/fat heavy and we weren’t given a choice - no fruit or toast or anything that we would really eat, so that was wasted. We asked for water with breakfast and that was added as an extra charge at checkout which seemed unnecessary. When we left, they offered to book a taxi to our next hotel, which we were grateful for but we later learned that they had hugely overcharged us (well over double what we should have paid) which again seemed unnecessary. For those reasons, although it was a lovely riad, we personally wouldn’t return.
