Breakfast was ok, there should be a halaal option. Loved the fact we could use the shuttle to the waterfront didnt need to drive out. The staff gave excellent service and was courteous all the time. Overall, a great staycation

The staff were warm and attentive throughout my stay, and the location was perfect for exploring Cape Town. Breakfast was generous and filling, and I appreciated the convenience of the shuttle service to the V&A Waterfront.
The room felt dated and in need of some refurbishment—not because anything was broken, but because it looked and smelled old. The corridor on the 28th floor had a persistent sewage smell, which was unpleasant. Our bathroom didn’t have a shower curtain, so every shower left the floor soaked. For a hotel of Southern Sun’s standard, I expected better amenities, including basics like bedroom slippers.
