Good location. The shuttle boat made a big difference. Staff were very helpful. On one occasion when the air-con was not functioning this was attended to promptly (thank-you). I was allowed to check out later which was nice.
I have stayed at Le Suffren four or five times now. I think that the internal state of the room and the bathroom in particular is getting a little dated now. The edges of the door in the shower is a little mouldy and the tiles are looking a little worn out. Only a minor issue.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of the Port Louis Marina, and they even have their own water taxi to transport you over to the Caudan district. Room was spacious with a huge, super comfortable bed. The gym is open 24 hours and is super well equipped. Loved the attentiveness of the reception staff.
The breakfast was the only somewhat disappointing part, while it was an okay buffet, it felt a bit lacking for a hotel of this caliber.

Reception staff were great and did everything I asked....very friendly and arranged my luggage from Taxi to Room, Room to Taxi. Informed me I was getting 10% off food and beverage if paying by Visa.
The staff in general are very pleasant and helpful...seems to enjoy working in the hospitality industry and well trained. Was on half board package so had 1500 MUR / per person towards the meal, which is ample for starter and main course.
Only negative was the breakfast.....cooked Pork bacon and sausages were not good quality. Better if you ordered when arrived, similars to the Egg Station, the poached eggs were excellent.

Arranged car hire maps and suggestions of where to go he also arranged beach towels thank you

Breakfast & dinner was excluded why booking.com?
Key card locked out of room twice
Not enough parking.
Showers needs to be upgraded
Air conditioning in one room was exceptionally noisy the light behind TV unit did not work.
