The location was great. Close to the SH 1 and to Tūrangi for buying food. The staff were friendly.
It was a little bit noisey with the traffic.

They had four good mineral hot spring pools, three are small private sized , one big hot open pool, all open for free for the guests, very nice, really enjoyed it
The guest room is small , very compact, but has got everything you need it.

Loved the friendly staff and awesome thermal pools. The animals were fun too. The units have heatpumps so super cosy in winter and the kitchens are well equipped.
The whole site is just a bit tired and our unit hadn't been vacuumed, although it was clean apart from that. Also, there was lots of dog poo in the kids playground, not the fault of the motel team but something to keep an eye on.

Nice to have hot pools available for use whenever you want.
Value for money, well priced.
Expect it to be old and tired, it is not new or modern, but the price reflects this.
