The location was ideal for us. We came to watch the World Cup Biathlon race and the apartment was perfect. Everything we needed was supplied and Johann was the best host you could want.

Beautiful area and town. Good views from apartment. Nice bathroom.
The Chiemgau card that is touted gets you very little during December. What messed up 2 different days was I wanted my kids to ride up the Rauschberg cable car. The day we planned (Tuesday) we were told when we got there they weren’t open; only on the weekends. So after rearranging things we tried again on Saturday. They didn’t open on time per their website. They opened at 10. Then after waiting we were told our cards were not acceptable that day.
