crowded and needs a little more cleaning up

Large room. Comfortable beds. Great location close to the beach.
Staff was very helpful at check-in. They also helped us book a mini van to the station.
Access to the pool was not free. They only provided 2 free coupons (when we were 6 people staying for 2 nights). This was nowhere advertised on our reservation. In the end we did not really enjoy the pool because it was really small with too many people.
Breakfast food was ok but the room was very small and packed. Not a cozy place to enjoy a nice start of the day.

The place is clean and big
The property is good, clean, and easy access to everything, but when I checked in I was not informed that they had fires earlier, so the place smells fire smoked, so I had to complained after I went to my room that my room smell likes carbon monoxide, before they tell me that they had a fire earlier and they didn’t even provided a masked. I was disappointed cause I already checked in and I come home sick from inhaling the smoked especially I have and my son asthma’s.

Loved our stay until the hotel caught fire and the alarm never sounded on the upper floors. As someone staying with kids we found this unacceptable and we’re lucky to be out in time before needing medical attention.
No fire alarm sounded when the hotel caught fire. Could have ended far worse than it did. Have had no contact with the hotel since the fire and left to stay elsewhere. Am still awaiting a response in regard to a refund for the whole situation. We were told we could have stayed the night however our room was filled with smoke and soot.

Two different lifts to get to the room and the lifts were slow. No couches or seats, and tables for luggage.

facilities seem old and worn condition, there is kitchenette but no equipment, plates or cups.

Location and large room
The hotel is rather dated. The shower has an water saver head (which is great) however, the water pressure is less than ideal. The beds are not great and we could feel the springs in every rib, but overall not too bad

Location
I decided to stay here after I had seen the room photos. But this room had completely different half see view when I opened the curtain. There are no buildings in the photo but my sea view was like there is a big building the other side of the road on the left side of my window and there is a same hotel building blocking the right side of the view. All I could see was just small see view. They must have told me or mentioned on the website about the half sea view. This is just lie. My room was on 6th floor which was visible from swimming pool which I couldn’t have privacy because people could be able to see my room from the swimming pool even it was on 4th floor. besides, I had to wipe off the water on bathroom floor after I took shower because the shower room door was not sealed properly.
I also found frozen rubbish in the freezer from previous hotel room guest.
I regretted booking this poor condition accommodation and disappointed with this hotel so much.

The room was quite big and good view and washing machine was cool.
there had been a construction, which was not good. Opening hours of gym and swimming pool were limited, no chance to use them for business travelers.

The hotel is right in front of the beach, and next to the streets where all the major restaurants are.
It looks nothing like the pictures. The hotel is a bit run down, and the room they put us in was in plain view of this atrium that they use for storage. It was too expensive for how it looks. Plus the “free” mini bar was just 2 cans of beer and 4 cans of soda. It was not what we were expecting.
