We loved this property - definitely would like to come back to stay in the region for a couple of days
Nothing we didn’t like

Staff/owners were very welcoming. Loved the breakfast room and the common room. The breakfast was excellent.

We have stayed here before with friends. It was a few years ago but the same family own the place; always a good sign. This time we were in a cottage across the yard and it has a kitchen (the main building has a communal kitchen). We self catered as the surrounding area is in the countryside and there are a minimal number of restaurants, certainly none of note close by. The breakfast is excellent with many of the items like jams and cake home made.
There is nothing to dislike

The room was immaculate and the staff were extremely helpful and positive. The breakfast was amazing.
Lack of eateries within travelling distance from the property
