Sunshine Bungalows

We absolutely loved our stay at Sunshine Bungalows in Amed. It’s one of those places that immediately makes you slow down and feel like you’re properly on holiday. Note - the dive shops come and pick you up directly from here - it's so easy! The setting is beautiful, peaceful and relaxed, with that wonderful laid-back atmosphere that makes Amed such a special part of Bali. Our bungalow was comfortable and had everything we needed, and it was a lovely place to come back to after a day exploring, swimming or simply enjoying the area. What really stood out, though, was the warmth and friendliness of the people. We felt genuinely welcome throughout our stay, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. It had a much more personal feel than staying at a large hotel or resort. The location was also fantastic for enjoying everything Amed has to offer, while still feeling quiet and away from the crowds. We loved waking up there each morning and would happily have stayed longer. If you're looking for somewhere relaxed, friendly and full of Balinese charm, we’d definitely recommend Sunshine Bungalows. We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely come back.

Amazing little place with the best staff. Practically on the beach with great snorkelling.

Very good value for the price. Friendly staff and right on the beach. location is away from the main part of Amed. The beach is stones and not sand, and there is nice snorkelling right in front of the hotel. The restaurant serves tasty meals at good value prices.

The location wou;d not be as suitable for those without their own transport. Sunshine Bungalows is looking a little dated in places, but this is reflected in the price.
