We recently spent a couple nights at Lakeview Tekapo, a charming and spacious accommodation with views of the lake and a short drive to the main town centre. Reservation was made through booking.com. Communication with the property was smooth and straight-forward, check-in instructions were easy to understand and payment processed as expected. There is parking space for each of the four units at Lakeview Tekapo. Our suite was very spacious with a bedroom, basic kitchenette and table, living room, work desk station and an outdoor patio space with two chairs facing the lake. Importantly, bed was very comfortable. Two televisions, one in the bedroom area and one in the living room area, both worked perfectly, as did heating and all lighting. Bathroom spacious, shower worked nicely. Kitchenette included basic cups, plates, bowls, microwave, kettle and fridge. Our stay was very good. Would happily return during future stays in Tekapo.

Pillows are on the large and firm side. Would have preferred at least one smaller and softer pillow option

A nice view of Lake Tekapo from the property. The bed was comfortable and the skylight above the bed allows you to gaze at the stars before going to sleep.

The lighting was modern but controlling from the Modem can be a little confusing without proper instructions.

Space : spacious View: to the lake is spectacular Lighting: good Parking: good easy to park at the property Bahtroom: is very clean, spacious, heating in the room

Heating: During our stay the temperature was 0-2 degree Celsius which the heater cannot make the room warm. There is only 1 heater for the whole spacious room. The heater itself doesn't work well to warm the room and we ended up to have to wear 3 layers even stay inside the room. There is no electric blanket. Trash bin: in the instruction of the property, it said that I have to empty all the trash bin ;( so on the check out date I have to clear the trash bin by ourselves which I felt too much. Layout: the bed is next to the kitchen

Everything! There was nothing we didn't like. It was perfect. Bed is comfortable, view is spectacular, massage was relaxing......every detail was perfect.
