It was my fourth trip to Apulia and the first trip to Salento and Otranto. To my surprise, I got an upgrade to a larger apartment. The apartment is incredibly sweetly decorated - the balcony ran all around and you could enjoy an espresso from any direction. There are 2 bedrooms and a total of 3 beds. The location is perfect - you can get to the bus stop in a few minutes and in the city on foot in about 10 minutes. It is therefore very quiet. The roof terrace is incredibly dreamy. The first espresso at sunrise, and the tranquility at sunset is melancholically beautiful. 😍 Kitchen equipment perfect - washer and dryer in the garage (unfortunately it was always occupied). The "farm" of bicycles in the garage that you can use was very good. There were also umbrellas for the beach. So you grab the bicycle after breakfast in the city and easily get to the beautiful beaches in the area. I slept very well and was sad as my journey continued. Every time I locked the front door, I felt like it was my home. 🥰 Communication was very warm and straightforward. Place was very clean and beautiful, location is close to the center and the sea (10 min). There is parking at the location but we could not use it as the entrance is very narrow, so only the small cars could be parked there. The apartment is on the 1st floor of the villa, there is no view from the balcony but it was still very beautiful and spacious, we liked it very much. There is also a shared terrace on top of the building with a view of the city. Communication with the host was very easy even though Carla did not speak English, she used Google Translate so we had no problem.

There was just 1 toilet paper for all 4 of us (we stayed 3 nights), and also there was no hand soap in the bathroom, so we had to buy these.

Location- less than 10 minutes walk to the beach and a bit more to the old town. Lots of restaurants to choose from We stayed in the two bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor which has a balcony all around. Nice colour scheme and some nice liveable areas such as outdoor table and kitchen/living room.

More shabby than chic. We fed back to the owners a few improvements where things were not right or needed replacing/renovating which they took in the spirit intended. It lacked the general upkeep and care to what should have been a very nice homely apartment.

Posizione vicino al mare e al Centro Storico. Con supermercati nelle immediate vicinanze. Stanze spaziose e molto pulite. I proprietari ci hanno accolto con una bottiglia di vino e ci hanno dato indicazioni su cosa visitare ad Otranto e dove cenare.
