Capsule Hotel - Copenhagen

Firstly, a special of staff member Kristina who was extremely helpful during my entire stay and from whom I learned a lot during my first ever visit to Denmark. I cannot rate highly enough the staff I dealt with in person or online with all aspects of my stay, The facilities were excellent and I was really happy with the pod I had. The sleeping area, bathrooms and shower were first class. I was also very happy with the lounge areas and also the cafe area where I spent a lot of time working. It was very well set up for me to set up my computer, plug it in and work. I did like how there was a large board we could write where we were from plus self-serve food items we could take even overnight and pay for on check out. Other notable features included the electronic PIN you were issued which you could use for the front door, make sure you get that before you get there from your online booking to make it easier for you. Breakfast being included was a very welcome bonus. Within walking distance are several convenience stores that are open at least most hours. I really liked this place and would definitely stay here again if I could if I ever return to see this part of Copenhagen again.

I have no complaints about the location itself. A few things out of the control of the location include that I really should have worked out the route to the capsule hotel before I got there. For me, the train to Copenhagen Central Station was a little complicated (found myself on a platform for a train to Sweden which I fortunately didn't board because I asked some very helpful people) and a bit of walking and asking people to find the right direct train (involved some crossing streets). Then my phone died when I exited the Central Station, my phone died and I had to stand in the square there to charge my phone to get the directions to the hotel which was actually a very short walk, so work this all out before you set out! (Look to be exiting by going up the stairs to the square where you can see the Tiffany Hotel ahead and to the left of you!) The short walk from this exit (straight ahead and then diagonally to the right) can also look like a bit of a rough area along parts of the way but the actual facility itself is perfectly fine inside and as I said, very good!

Very new and clean; comfortable pods with lots of filtration and ventilation. Great neighborhood. Great price. Nice stay for solo travel.

The hotel is only staffed 07:30 - 13:30, so there isn’t anyone on the premises for a standard 15:00 check-in. Shower floor mats are easily available, but the towel situation was a hit hit-or-miss. Had to ask a staff member one morning for a new towel.

Location is excellent close to the railway station ... Clean, well maintained Staff was nice and very helpful the capsule was ventilated sufficiently

1. the capsule is made of wood and during the sleep people are turning from one side to the other and hit the wood with the watch or other hard objects and make noises .. sound isolation needs a bit more attention to mask the noises ... 2. there are only 2 USB ... an USB C and a normal USB ... but nowadays there are many things to charge like watch, headset, tablet, laptop and phone ... 3. there are 24 capsules quite small so during the evening you have to stay somewhere to make a phone call etc ...but only a few tables in the kitchen and very small living room ... 4. lockers are only for small baggage ... quite small lockers ... I can barely fit my backup in ... also there was no locker available when I arrived I had to wait for the next day
