Excellent location in the Peak district, close to the train, great atmosphere, staff were friendly, and breakfast was excellent. We also enjoyed very tasty evening meals and a good variety of ales. The free parking was a bonus.

Amazing staff, very friendly… shower and bathroom had a top spec. Homemade food was delicious… they were very kind and let me leave my car in the car park for a week
The room was a bit tired but it really wasn’t a problem

Well situated. Comfortable bedroom
Cooked breakfast was not good. ( other options were better). It’s expensive for what it is.
