Fantastic staff, friendly atmosphere, felt very homey, comfy bed, recommendations for local eats, easy Japanese phrases on the wall.

Everyone in staff spoke English in addition to Japanese. Everyone was very friendly and kind. The place is very nice and receptive and they also gave us detailed idea about the places that we can see nearby and helped plan out trip in detail. That was great.

- Very nice staff, available and ready to help for any questions/advice - Clean - Common area is quite spacious, they also have few desks to work if needed - A bit far from the station (20/25min walking), but very close to the main shopping/restaurant street and the temple

- The room with the beds is really really small: the beds are really close to each other and there is not enough space for the luggage or even move when other guests are in - The beds have a “light” and thin curtain which doesn’t cover fully, so light can pass and you’re not fully “protected” from others’s view - There is only one shower (but there is a sign up system if needed to avoid long waiting time) - Humidity smell at the entrance, due to shoes and stuff drying

The staff was so nice, they also helped me and saved my vacation drying my shoes after heavy rain. They explained me a lot of beautiful ways and places to explore Nagano and its local zones. Also recommended me good restaurants. The place was so clean and well organized. The bed was super comfortable and clean. 100% Recommended
