Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The ostrich fillet was prepared deliciously and the whole meal was masterfully presented and served to provide a real cullinary experience. Breakfast was equally excellent. The restaurant and the accommodation provides the nostalgic glamour and glory of the days when ostrich farming was booming. The silence and tranquility of the Klein Karoo at Rietfontein was magical, especially under the glorious full moon. We should also mention the refreshing dip in the infinity pool overlooking the peaceful surroundings. The accommodation was crisp and fresh and beautifully furnished. We also enjoyed the friendly and homely atmosphere on the farm. A real 5-star experience.

Our hosts, Kobus and Elmare were super friendly and welcoming. The accommodation in the old carriage house was large and well equipped. The pool area and views towards the Swartberg were stunning.
The jewel in the crown was the superb food served at dinner, and the friendly dogs were a lot of fun.

Ein schönes altes Farmhaus mit weitem Blick in die südafrikanische Landschaft.
