Glen Innes Motel

The continental breakfast was good. Clean, fresh, varied. It was nice to actually have a motel these days that provides a breakfast. A dying art. We had a superior room and were happy that the bedroom was separate to the sitting area. There was even a TV in each area so my wife could go to bed while I stayed up for a while and watched some TV. All of the required basic kitchenette-type stuff was there, which made our stay more comfortable. There was quite a bit of space. The view out the back over paddocks was ‘agricultural’ and not scenic but was still somehow pleasant.

The motel, like many others, is pretty old. It was clean, but felt a little tired. Like it could do with an uplift. The sofa was a long way from the TV.

Lovely owners and good clean spacious rooms

Nothing

The room I stayed in was on the small side, but adequate, with a very comfortable bed and good sized TV. The staff were helpful and friendly. I appreciated the daily cleaning service and the made-up bed at the end of the day. Breakfast was more than the usual continental breakfast, with an assortment of cereals, toast, fresh and container fruit, yoghurt, tea and great coffee. To top it off there are EV chargers outside each room.

Breakfast was fine, met expectations.

Bed was uncomfortable and soft. The shower was the worst one ever, the sink had more pressure!
