Everything was great. The hotel is a little bit outside of Ubud which is great because the Center is very crowded and sometimes overwhelming. There a lots of restaurants close by. The breakfast is really nice in the hotel. Most amazing was the staff who literally helped us with every question we had, organised drivers for us and even remembered our names from day one. The rooms are a little quiet Oase in the middle of a lot of greenery with many flowers. Three times a week there is a herbal steam sauna, which you should not miss. Yes it’s hot during the day, but it was amazing in the afternoon.
Not a problem for us, but if you are scared of nature or animals, it might not be the best place to stay. The apartments are out of wood with ornaments, so you can hear all the nature around you during the night - we really liked that!

Dragonfly Village greatly exceeded my expectations. The vibe once in the village, the bed, shower (outside view), the breakfast and the staff were all great.
The walk up from the village on the path along with motorcycles and scooters were a little annoying. But I personally would not have wanted to stay closer to the road. Dragonfly Village is very peaceful. Also the room was a little dark for my liking. Carmel the cat is friendly but a little obnoxious with the meowing.

Relaxing, peaceful accommodation with good breakfast. Loved the semi outdoor bathroom and timber hut 'Papaya' that we stayed in. Appreciated the filtered water provided. Friendly staff. Beautiful walk to accommodation from town (but you do have to share the narrow path with scooters which can feel a little intimidating if you are not used to it). Enjoyed a herbal sauna night with music around a fire. Can walk all the way to Pyramids of Chi.
