Hotel Yambu kathmandu

After an issue with our room on the first evening (we arrived after midnight, exhausted and the room didn't smell fresh) - we spoke early the next morning to the manager/owner who was unbelievably helpful and immediately changed and upgraded our room at no extra charge. From that moment on, we had a fantastic stay at Yambu. All staff are so friendly and helpful. We arranged a sunrise trip with hike, which ended up being the same price as what we had seen on "get your guide" but we had a private car and guide. Nothing was too much trouble and when I fell ill with food poisoning, they sent up ginger tea on multiple occasions. We will be back after our trip to Annapurna and can highly recommend this friendly family run hotel

Nothing. It's not always about the bad - but how issues are handed and Yambu were brilliant.

Everything about this hotel was amazing. My first time in Nepal, Kathmandhu. And this has made my trip already. The hotel owner, provided everything I needed for my stay and more. Invited for dinner with him and helped me out massively for my stay. This is the place to visit when staying in Kathmandu.

Nothing at all

Hot water. It might not sound like much but this was the first hotel I stayed in in Kathmandu that unfailingly provided hot water on demand. Staff were diligent and helpful.

There was not a lot I didn't like. The coffee was instant but I still got coffee with my breakfast. Breakfast could have been better but was adequate. Complaining does feel like nitpicking
