Great location, very central and close to everything.
It wasn’t clean, the kitchen was dirty and smelt weird and the communal areas looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. The top bed on the bunk had no railings and there was very little space/ plugs available in the rooms.

The studio was great; it included a deck, a kitchenette, and its facilities. Situated on a peaceful street, it is close to both the town centre and the sea. Excellent value for the money overall.
Parking space is limited, 'First come, first serve' might leave you without parking even outside the lodge.

I stayed 3 nights each in different rooms so got to see different aspects if the venue
Got to use the spa one night
The staff were kind and informative
They let me store my suit case in-between stays before I re booked and went on a tour
The shared bunk dorm was a bit musty moody smell

It was so very reasonably priced and the location was great. We were able to walk almost everywhere we went. The kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. The rooms were small but we were only there to sleep so they suited our purpose admirably.

Very central to the shops, I.e. food etc Eateries are just around the corner. . the info center for all the tours in the Bay of Islands, the slow ferry is by far the BEST!

Location was very nice and staff friendly. The kitchen is well equipped and we liked the little common room on the first floor, that had also a sink, kettle and toaster. There is a whirlpool that you can use for free which was pretty cool, too.
Our lock of the door didn't work too well. You always had to try several times and jiggle the key in it to find the right position to open the door. Staff was friendly but couldn't fix the problem within a day which is understandable, so we think it was a minor issue.

ideally located for people without transport. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room clean and bathrooms clean and comfortable.

The location of the lodge was good. They have free hairdryers and umbrellas to borrow.
The lodge is pretty old, needs a ground renovation, the showers and bathrooms downstairs were dirty, the kitchen was old, all the dishes are used and old.
Internet speed is slow.

How close it is to city centre. Literally a 1 min walk to local resturants. The room was just what we needed. Bed and pillows so comfy. Warm, clean and tidy. Enjoyed the night away.
