The room was comfortable and cosy. Bathroom was great. Loved the heated floor. Breakfast in Fellows was terrific.

Quiet, relaxed feel on a university campus (during uni holidays) is different to most other hotels/apartments. Impressive renovations, especially the bathroom, in an historic building with solid concrete walls between rooms. Retro decor celebrating a local historic designer was an unexpected surprise yet still comfortable.
Probably teething issues in a newly opened hotel. Visible layers of dust on crockery and the bed head, maybe we were the first guests in the room? 2 BR apartment has an induction stovetop, but no toaster or breadboard and only 1 (very large) kitchen knife. Provided dishwasher tablets don’t really fit. Hotel employee & 2 tradesmen knocked on our door at 7:15am but were surprised when we answered in our pj’s because they didn’t know we’d paid for the room. The tradies then started drilling/hammering nearby; maybe they could start closer to 10am checkout?
Longer term, the bed was uncomfortably firm.
