The location was the greatest. Really central, but quiet. The owners were so caring, helped me a lot; they booked me a transport from Cusco airport, special breakfast options., heated my take away supper..) The place felt home like; local art on the wall in happy colours, less like a formal hotell. The breakfast was delicious; plentyful and the extra of a quinoa porridge at no extra cost. It was so clean, I felt comfortable walking in the common areas with just socks on-good after a long day. At one moment I was out of toilet paper, more came within minutes.

Room was a little bit cold in morning, but it's a charming old fashioned house in stone. I had a nice thick blanket, so I slept very well. My only real regret is that I had to go on, did not have time to stay longer.

Hot showers. Proximity to Plaza. Quiet. Breakfasts of eggs and fruit.

The location is very close to the bus and the train station. The owners are really welcoming, came to pick us up at the train station, helped with bus tickets, stored our luggage. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was very good, too.

Could hear other guests leaving early in the morning, but was not too bad 🙂.

Besides the cute, clean place with a great breakfast and nice folks, Chayana Wasi is located in the section of town where the Inca nobility once resided. Original stonework is at the base of every wall. Very cool! Plus, the view from the rooftop is amazing!

for a 2 star hotel it was superb, attention to detail, cosy room, home cooked breakfast, hot shower, exceptional hospitality from hosts, quiet, great location to square

It was a little bright in the room in the morning. It came from the ceiling so there was no way to block it. Not a huge deal but I get woken up by light in the morning.

Lovely quiet location. The upstairs room was very spacious and my son loved the loft bed. Gorgeous couch & sunlight area just outside room. My parents stayed in the downstairs room, it was a little dark but very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and staff were really kind & helpful. Only 1 minute walk to the main plaza.

Great location near the main plaza. You could hear some music from the other establishments at night, but a pair of ear plugs fixed that. Very lovely and attentive couple run the Hostal. I'd stay here again.

its the only hotel on a quiet street a few mins from the square - such a chill vibe and beautifully decorated. The breakfast is the best we’ve had our entire trip. Javier is super super helpful and gave us a free upgrade- he also sorted a cheap taxi to cusco airport. The mattresses and pillows top quality and we all slept like logs.

This is a wondeful spot in a beautiful village. The house is built on the walls of old Incan ruins.. Milagros was a fantastic help and there when we needed her without being pushy at all. The breakfast was great and location couldn't be better.

Absolutely amazing place! Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is very complete with fruits, juice, coffee, bread and eggs. My last night they even asked if I wanted my breakfast to go, in case I got the first train to Machu Picchu! The rooms are very comfy and have everything you might need. The location is also amazing; in the middle of the old -still inhabited- inca village and still only a short walk to the train station.

I love Chayana Was so much that I didn’t want to leave. The room was clean and the bed was warm and comfortable. The shower water was very hot. the owner was super friendly and helpful.

very affordable. two blocks off the square so easy access but far enough away that you don’t have trucks blaring through at all nights. owner is extraordinarily friendly and accommodating.
