New Crossing Place Motel

Friendly staff. Surprisingly large, very clean complex, you'd easily park a trailer or bus on the grounds. Pool & deck area with tables/chairs, we had a large two bedroom apt (3 people), ample parking, no road noise. Comfy beds, crisp linens & towels. Comfy couches. Spacious bathroom was fully tiled & modern. Less than a 5-minute stroll down the main street to The Prince of Wales hotel for dinner, delicious. Or you can walk to Seymour Club through the back gates of the motel. Not sure if pet friendly. We enjoyed the Vietnam Veterans Walk nearby, awesome! Plenty to see and do in Seymour. Overall, a comfortable & enjoyable overnight stay for $214. Would recommend.

The view over the junk yard and huge shed at the kitchen and back bedroom windows. We reported that 5 downlights were blown, my wife was unable to do her make-up in the bathroom due to the lights being out above the mirror (it was the only mirror in the apt & the tiny bathroom window was way up high, at the very top of the wall above the toilet). Leaky shower under the glass door. Everything was serviceable but felt very basic, it could use an update & some greenery.

It was clean and good location

The bed was too soft

Nice comfortable large bed, good linens, and a spacious modern bathroom.

No complaints

Reception was friendly.

Very dated & in need of Reno and deep clean. Missing a bath towell, kitchen supplies in tiny cupboard that was useless. Poor lighting. Very basic accommodation & disappointing for the price.
