The hotel was near railway station. There's bus stop and convenience store nearby.

The hotel breakfast was simple. But there wasnt much breakfast place nearby the hotel (except convenience store). The hotel request customer to sign a form (first time receiving this kind of request) to indemnify the hotel if property was damaged. Hence we requested the hotel staff to check our room and confirmed before check-out. This hotel informed us upon check-in that the toilet papers must be thrown outside the toilet bowl, inside the paper basket beside the toilet bowl. This is one of the clause in the form to indemnify the hotel if toilet bowl was choked. The hotel is in Taichung city. We stayed in Taichung city many times. This is the first time we have this type of request from a HOTEL in CITY. Since the hotel has informed customers IN ADVANCE that disposable toothbrush, etc not provided, the toilet paper problem should also be stated upfront. If we knew that the hotel was so out-dated in their toilet facilty, we will not book this hotel for our stay.
