The room was quiet and the bed was clean. There was an ice machine on each floor.

There was no coffee maker and water heater in the room as described in the amenities.

Great choices for breakfast. We also had dinner one night. Good food and good views. Staff were very responsive to an air conditioning system that wasn’t working as well as it should.

Very cramped bedroom.

Location was great. Near the airport and just two stops away from the airport for the airport limousine. There's an airport shuttle provided by the hotel (3-4 times a day) so it's convenient to head to the airport. Several bakery and convenience shops nearby so it was convenient. We could see the sunset from our room.

Room cleanliness can be improved. Found a few strands of hair in the toilet - on the bathroom floor and bathtub.

The man and woman working the first floor concierge were amazing and went out of their way to help us with taxis and arranging tours around the island. Our Korean isn’t great but they spoke fluent English which was also super helpful.

We swapped from the Grand Hyatt to Lotte at the last minute. A move I regretted as soon as we entered our room. We knew it would be a step down but didn’t realise how bad. The walls in the room were covered in water/liquid stains and there were splatter marks on other walls (see pictures). The pillows were horrible and the bed was not comfortable. The wallpaper was bubbling and the carpet is old and disgusting. The lights were difficult to control with the on/off switches needing to be pressed several times to get a response. The walls were paper thin and on our last night, we could hear a couple arguing in the room next door well after 10pm. There are 3 lifts and they take FOREVER to get to you. So prepared to stand around waiting, especially during check in/out time. You have to pay for pool access, something I assumed would be included in the $225AUD per night fee.

Just a heads up: the internet site that I booked the hotel room (booking.com) offers an option to pay a bit more for the "Let the hotel provide you with a room" instead of booking a specific room. It turns out that the hotel knew nothing about the option, saying that it was something booking.com cooked up, and they only had directions to book me for the cheapest option. I was not happy about that. The manager offered me a deal that cost me a more, but essentially we split the increase in cost. I could live with that.

airport shuttle mention on booking.com is limited to 930am onward. we had to leave for the airport at 7am and returned the car a day earlier since booking.com mentioned there's complimentary airport limousine service but the specific timing was not mentioned!
