Some of the decor was quite plain and brought down the true wonderful quaintness of the place

Quiet cottage in the woods.
Unfortunately the weather turned and it was wet. The tiled floors were cold to walk on and their were no mats or rugs

The location and rainforest like surroundings were beautiful. Just a short walk to Kalimna Hotel (lovely atmosphere and meals) and the Kalimna jetty. Walking tracks, bird watching and fishing on your doorstep.
The room itself was cosy; comfy bed and lovely, hot shower.
The cabins are looking a bit outdated and could do with a deep clean. The room had a log burning heater inside which was perfect for the cold days but we thought it was a bit steep to have to pay for the wood. This was a first for us, wood has always been included in other accommodation.

Nice location, quiet and peaceful.
Amenities are basic eg shower curtain is creepy. Would be great to get free wood, kindling and matches.

"Really quaint cottages. Great for overseas travellers if you want to a bush stay but still close to the coast. Handy to the Kalimna Hotel and a very short drive into town."
