The staff were friendly and respectful

The room had mold which was a concern to our health and spread on my personal items. Most I had to throw away. The Hotel had some noisy guest who were not considerate of others in the hotel.

The lady working at night was trying her best working alone

No towels in the room. No laundry was told the rumble dry not working. No ice available at the bar. Room had a bad smell. The shower leaked water into my bedroom. Overall just a poor place to stay. The staff were using the visitors parking had to ask them to move their car so I can park

Some maintenance required in the room. Toilet door couldn’t be opened if you closed it, front door lock difficult to use. No towels when we arrived - had to ask again later - when they were made brought No staff when we came for breakfast

The facility is very clean . That is as good as things get here .

I forgot a clothing item at the facility and I was hoping I'd get a call to let me know I've left something behind . I guess the cleaning staff took it for themselves ,which is very poor service. I wonder what else do they take from guests.

Kitchen staff was so rude. Payed for breakfast and at arrival I asked times for breakfast and I was told from 7am till 11am and I went at 9:30 there was no food and I greeted kitchen staff but no response then they push us as if we blocked their way. Gate not working and the choose whom they open for and some people get special treatment not being sure if the regular clients and we just passbye

I booked a luxury double bed room for a work trip. The room wasn't ready for check-in when I arrived due to loadshedding issues and I was very understanding of this. They offered me a complementary drink while I wait for my room. After an hour of waiting, they gave me a single bed room, which is not what I paid for. I brought this under their attention and asked that I get moved to the correct room. I ended up only checking into a double room at 10pm. Once I checked in, the fridge in the room didn't work, which I needed for work purposes. I asked them to help me to get the fridge to work and they confirmed that the fridge doesn't work. They then had to move me again. I ended up getting to my room after 11pm. Through the entire process they hinted towards me being difficult, but all I wanted was the room that I paid for with the facilities that I paid for. For two nights in a row, other guests who were there for a conference, were drinking and partying very loudly in the early hours of the morning (around 3am) right outside my room. They were allowed to make a noise, swim and jump into the pool at these obscene hours although the pool is situated in the centre of all the rooms. Breakfast was very disappointing with most of the food containers empty by the time I got there before 8:30am every morning. It seems that if you don't make it to the dining room first, you don't get food. Overall, my accommodation situation added a lot of stress to my work trip. I ended up booking different accommodation for my last night, while still paying full price for my accommodation at Lakeview. Needless to say, I won't be staying here again.
