The location was amazing. Located just out of Denmark township, in the beautiful forest but a short walk from the inlet.
The BIRDS must be the main attraction! Seeing and feeding them each morning and night was simply magical. On the balcony.
Rooms and beds and heaters were all very cosy. Lovely main bathroom, cozy upstairs living area, lots of beautiful windows.
Take heed of the NO INTERNET portion of the facilities. I didnt read thoroughly, and it didnt ruin the stay by any means, but it was a little more difficult without any phone / internet use whatsoever.
I'd also call the "second bathroom" a stretch. Its downstairs, within a laundry, and its a shower spigot on a wall, with a plastic curtain around it, right next to a toilet. But hey it IS down there should you need it!
Also the toilet door could be fixed / oiled. As its right next to one of the bedrooms, anytime someone uses it in the night, it will definitely wake you up .

House is one of many hill-side cabins in Denmark's most sought-after location: tall eucalyptus trees and good birdlife.
The house parking is no-no: two steep and narrow access even for 4WD. Street parking is good ten steep steps above the house, unsuitable for people with limited mobility. House has three floors; it is also not very convenient. Luck of local guidebooks and bird books that you expect to be present at every house at this location.

Nice and comfortable place. Beautiful surrounds. Loved feeding the birds. Great location. Highly recommend. Great value for money.

What I should say is don't go here it's terrible so I can book it easily; but I'd be lying.The location is great. The balcony and birds are a delight and the interior is quality.
We love the view and quiet.
We can walk straight from the front door to wonderful walks.
What could be better for a city girl who loves the country.
Some of the soft furnishings need replacing as they are well beyond their best. The sink in the main bathroom needs attention as it drains far too slowly. A little money spent on these things will bring it up to the standard of the rest of the interior.
The towels were a bit sparse but the cleaners did say they had difficulties with the supplier?
The blind in the bedroom fell off when I tried to pull it up. A bruise on my arm!
And please please clean the windows!!!

There was a lot of mould in the kitchen. on the windows walls. There weren’t enough towels for the 5 people who stayed. My sister had to use a tea towel.

Everything was good but the toiletries were not provided and nothing was mentioned to us. Even the kitchen was pretty much empty, I have been to other places, they atleast provide you a bottle of milk, bread and butter or sometimes complimentary bottle of wine. It’s an expensive accomodation and these are the basic requirements

The house was peaceful, quiet, clean and stylish and everything you could possibly need for a stay was thought of and provided for! The Views from the decks were beautiful, the Bibbulmun track accessible from the house, the wood fire was very cosy while enjoying a glass of wine. Eating breakfast with the “locals” (magpies, galahs, 28s and Bronzewing Pigeons) was magical. Denmark central and all the stunning beaches and wineries/meaderies were only a short drive away. A fabulous place to unwind from the rest of the world 😁
The only recommendation we have is that the path heading down to the Bibbulmun Track be cleared a little more and a small sign or something on/near the track to note where the house is so if you’re walking in the dark you don’t get lost. We did some Astro photography and walked right past the access point to the house 🤣

microwave was very hard to use and dangerous,
no wood or fire lighting kindle prepared,
concerned about the dilapidated state of the fire fighting equipment, wouldn’t stay there in summer.

The location is amazing, great nature trails right on your doorstep. Beds were very comfortable & the wood fire kept the home lovely and warm, we were never cold.
The clothes dryer didn’t work properly (really needs replacing) & the oven wasn’t usable either.

Location was great.
The advert advised two bathrooms. It really was one bathroom, and a laundry with a shower and toilet. Also a small cake of soap would be welcome. The outdoor balconies were covered in leaves on our arrival and, while this is inevitable given the location , a few minutes with a blower prior to guest arriving would improve first impressions.

The layout of the house was excellant, the views were great. Dont forget to take some meat for the magpies and nuts for the parrots who eat out of your hand. Wonderful.
The wooden floors could do with a mop and the patios and front porch needed brooming down. No wifi and very poor tv reception.

Beautiful location and great value for money.
The birdlife was sensational will have no hesitation booking this house again but for a longer stay.

Location was incredible. Forest and ocean, what’s not to love. Birds were a hit with the kids.
The appliances had faulty cables and as such we could not use one of the heaters.
The vacuum cleaner was full of dirt and did not work well.
The fireplace had not been cleaned out prior to us arriving (we left it clean for the next people)
The DVD player remote does not work (not battery related).

This house is amazing. The view out the windows was spectacular. The furnishings and artwork throughout the house were high quality. The house had such an amazing feel we could have stayed for weeks. It was very relaxing and we felt right at home.
Theres really nothing to fault about this house. Its is amazing. The only small suggestion we could make is to oil the internal doors as they squeaked a little when others got up at night time, and to provide a bench seat at the front door to sit down on while taking off your shoes. But really thank you so much for letting us stay in this amazing house.

Great location and lovely view
Oven door doesn’t close properly. Could do with a little update in furnishings. Floorboard nail sticks out. Bins were full unable to dispose of rubbish.

Excellent location - quiet, peaceful place amongst the trees with water views and plentiful birdlife, but only a few minutes from town. Walk out the back door straight down to walking track. Kitchen was well equipped with dishes and cooking utensils. Bbq on upper deck was a bonus. House was cosy and warm with a fireplace downstairs (if you stay for more than one night, you will need to purchase firewood), plus gas heater on upper level and heaters in bedrooms. There is a washer (which wasn't operational during our stay, but tagged for replacement) and dryer in laundry.
The steep driveway into the carport is inaccessible for regular cars (4wd only) which we were unaware of until after we'd paid the non-refundable booking. There was a small amount of firewood under the house, but not enough for the entire stay. There is cooking oil, salt and pepper provided but bring your own paper towel, sauces, spices. Phone and internet reception was patchy.

Great location, very peaceful, with log fire for the cold nights. Bedrooms were comfortable and clean and had radiators too! Bird life was fun to enjoy each morning.
Some more wood in the house and smaller logs / kindling.

Location is excellent. The house is equipped with pretty much everything you need and the beds are comfy.
Parts of the house could do with some TLC. There were ants on the kitchen bench tops and cracks near the windows in the kitchen. The oven door doesn't close properly. The downstairs room could so with a lamp so you can sit there in the evening by the fire, rather than having the big bright lights on. The house is freezing in winter. There are heaters in most rooms, but they take a long time to heat the place. It would have been nice for the fire to be ready to light when we arrived. Phone signal is poor but that didn't bother us too much.
