No coffeemaker

The location was fine, there was a supermarket on 5 minutes walk from the appartment, The hiking trail to the forest started on 500 meters. there were some candles in the room (but no lighter) and they died after 15 minutes. The bed was nice and comfortable,

Prior to arrival we set up the check-in time, we called 10 minutes in advance that we were close to the appartment but on arrival we had to wait 20-30 minutes before the host showed up to give us the keys. The bathroom is not heated the appartment itself was 22 degrees while the shower would be around 12, there is hot water in the shower for approximately 10 minutes. The radiator in the bathroom was on a electric time-stop so it would never get warm enough to dry the towels after using them. There were also a few tiles lose from the wall hanging on for dear life. The kitchen setup was average, the knifes were blunt, the cooking pans had no lids, The host probably does not expect people to actually cook there.

All was OK.

Nice little place, the host Jan was nice and helpful, they have a bunch of info packets on trails to do around the area and he was happy to answer any questions. The bed was comfy and the room was nice. A kitchenette with dishes and glasses and a kettle, a microwave and mini fridge, all welcome. Even though it was cold it was nice having a little patio to step outside. It's located in a decent place between the train/bus station and the square, so it's easy to walk around town and hit the trails from. The heaters were great!

There are a few things that I would suggest improving on: - Coffee. LOTS of people like to have coffee and/or tea in the morning, and although there is a cafetiere to brew coffee, there is no coffee to brew. I don't want to have to buy a big bag of coffee from the supermarket just to use it for a couple mornings. - There was some weird issue with the electricity in the room. For some reason my laptop would not charge on most of the power outlets. Sometimes it would charge from the outlet in the kitchen (where I couldn't use it) but usually it wouldn't charge at all, which is strange. Additionally, there are no usable charging outlets near the dining table, where one would be working from. The "extension" outlet from the heater didn't work and had the same electrical issue as the rest of them. - The wifi was spotty and often wouldn't work. I was connected to the one closest to the room and I was struggling to load any videos, especially from bed. I would suggest buying a cheap wifi booster (only about €20) for the room(s).
