Friendly hosts, clean rooms and comfortable- had everything we needed! We were able to cook while we stayed in Puerto Ayora, combining with eating out a bit. Close to everything.
Wasn't sure where to get our filtered water fillup after our gallon was out. But I also didn't ask!

Nice staff that cleaned my room
No windows in the room and its noisy.I was basically in basement dorm and internet wasn't working there.
It is quite far from the centre.

Simple property that had everything you needed for a good price. Clean, comfy beds and drinking water provided.

The only positive of this place was the price, and the fact they let me check when I arrived despite it being very early. Rooms are fine, basic but clean.
Puerto Ayora isn’t big, but compared to the many other options this felt like it was quite far from the port/restaurants etc. It was a 15-20 minute walk from the pier with luggage and I really regretted not getting a taxi.
The rooms themselves were clean, but my external bathroom had a very strong drain smell, and the other guests I was sharing the kitchen with left such a mess in the shared spaces that they were basically unusable. This is not the fault of the hotel, but the lady who checked me in mentioned it in an apologetic way, without then doing anything to correct the situation.
The most annoying thing in general was the staff - completely uninterested in helping in any way. I messaged them immediately after booking to ask if I could leave some luggage for a few days, in exchange for me booking again on my return. I simply never received a reply, and it wasn’t even mentioned when I checked in. The lady who checked me in never gave me the Wi-Fi password. It wasn’t written anywhere, and I simply couldn’t find the staff again before check out (it was only a short stay), so I ended up using my data the whole time. They let me leave my luggage for half a day after check out and made me manhandle it myself into their storage room. This is fine, it’s my luggage. However, when I returned to reception, my phone had fallen from the chair where I’d placed it onto the floor, and the receptionist either couldn’t be bothered to pick it up or was too busy scrolling TikTok videos on her phone to notice. Either way, I’m glad I didn’t book again.
