Fantastic location. The hotel is full of character. Very spacious rooms with glorious views. The food in the restaurant was excellent . Very high quality and value for money. Very generous breakfasts too.
The staff were very welcoming and attentive.

The decor was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. Definitely enjoyed our night in a castle.
Some of the staff let the atmosphere down.

great location, drive in, bedroom and comfortable bed. nice walks along the river. peaceful.
we had a dog with us and were warned that we'd have to eat at the bar, which is fair enough. but we weren't told that we'd have to eat at a coffee table sitting on a deep sofa. not good for your digestion..
they said they set up a table for us next morning for breakfast, but that didn't happen.
not good for disabled people, eg lack of marked disabled parking.
