Idéalement placé au calme de Don Khone. Belle vue sur le mékong (même en réservant coté jardin).
La chambre, bien que petite, était confortable et nous avons très bien dormi.
Nous n'avons pas eu un seul sourire du personnel en trois jours. Nous avons même eu l'impression d'ennuyer le personnel à chaque fois que nous posions une question. Seule réponse qui nous a été donnée
pour un trajet pour lequel nous nous renseignions : prix 2 fois supèrieur à ce que nous avons finalement réservé.
Nous avons prolongé notre séjour à Don Khone mais avons changé de guesthouse : personnel bien plus sympathique, confort équivalent et prix moins chers!

L emplacement était bien bord du fleuve, balcon avec hamac agréable pour voir le coucher de soleil

Guesthouse très bien située. Au sein de Don Khone. Un peu basique pour le premier soir,, mieux pour la suite avec chambre sur le Mékong et hamac. .
Famille très gentille
Peu de lumière dans la chambre. Lampe de chevet ne fonctionne pas.
Les petits dejeuners sont un peu chers

Wir hatten ein Zimmer direkt am Mekong, so dass wir aus der Hängematte den Sonnenuntergang beobachten konnten-traumhaft!

Le lit est grand, confortable. La chambre et salle de bains sont propres. J ai adoré la vue sur le Mékong, la terrasse avec hamac est très agréable.
Ce secteur bien qu un peu loin du port de dondet (c est largement faisable à vélo) est très beau et des restaurants sont à proximité.

Peaceful part of the Island. Restaurant at the road frontage of the guesthouse served wonderful fish dish, and very friendly staff.
Other guests were a bit noisy when they arrived and throughout the afternoon. Not much one can do about that.

Avoid this place do yourself a favor....go to a nice hostel!

Food was ok and the staff very friendly
No hot shower and bathroom not clean at all. No chance for me, they were workers doing job outside my room so very noisy.

I chose this place considering visitor's comments. Here are mine:
+ 3 out of 5 are just on Mekong
+ the young owner (?) is very kind
+ good choice of breakfast, excellent cappuccino
+ food tasty
+ attractive price ( reservation platform)
+ money exchange service ( no ATM nearby)
- small room with private toilets
- cleanliness to be seriously improved
- no privacy , can hear neighbours snoring or other activities
- poor bicycles
Actually we thought about moving to another place, but we got used to the room and didn't visit other rooms and stayed more than 4 nights

The guesthouse rooms are clean and simple, comfortable bed, with verandas and hammocks right on the riverbank, hot water in the shower and good air-conditioning. Nothing super special, but they're very affordable. But the real treat is the restaurant on site - excellent coffee, and very good food. Fresh, bright flavourful curries, lemongrass chicken, and perfectly crunchy salads. Their mango sticky rice had extra orange zest and sesame seeds. Best pad thai around too. Nana is a wizard in the kitchen. We ended up eating 4 out of 6 meals here and would do it again!
