Keros Art Hotel

È stato tutto perfetto, dall’accoglienza stupenda che abbiamo avuto dalle proprietarie, alla pulizia della struttura. La colazione a buffet è sempre stata abbondante e varia. Ci si sente davvero a casa!

Lovely, homey feel. Eleni, Sofia and the family were absolutely lovely hosts, very kind and hospitable. The facilities were very clean and it was in a lovely location on the island. The only place to stay if you're visiting Koufonosia, highly recommend!

Eleni and Sofia are wonderful hosts, welcoming us with a cold cherry juice and local recommendations. They were always present and available to assist. The bed in our room was extremely comfortable - lovely! We slept amazingly. The hotel itself is beautiful, lovely balcony view with all the stunning flowering plants - and tortoises, and a beautiful cat! Breakfast was decent, we liked the fresh fruit and baked goods like orange pie. You can't ask for a better location - a very short stroll to the port, town, excellent supermarkets, bakeries, and even the nearest beach. When we checked out, we had a late ferry but Eleni and Sofia kindly let us store our luggage and use the hotel pool and showers until we left - this meant we were able to enjoy another day on the beaches of Koufonisia without our bags, and take a shower before our ferry to the next island. This is very much appreciated!

Our room was nice, but it was very small, it was difficult to unpack a suitcase, the fridge is in the wardrobe. Bathroom very very small. This wouldn't be a problem for me usually, but this was the most expensive hotel on my island hopping trip, so I did expect a little bit more from the room. While breakfast was decent, coffee was not very good. I saw staff with freddo espressos which weren't available to guests. It was not ideal for vegetarians because meat was served with the eggs. Breakfast would be excellent if fresh coffees and eggs to order were offered to guests. Not a big problem, but something I'd suggest to improve because of the hotel's price. Lastly, while the staff were mostly fantastic, one man was quite rude to us on several occasions - including when we returned to the hotel and followed a sign to 'Showers', he shouted at us, and once we confirmed we were hotel guests just looking for the showers, he started talking to the owners about us in front of us. It made us uncomfortable sadly. A lovely hotel overall I just expected a bit more in some areas for the price.
